Fabian Flores Commits to DePaul Blue Demons
Fabian Flores, a towering 7-2 center from Spain, has officially committed to DePaul under head coach Chris Holtmann, as reported by Jonathon Givony of Draft Express. Flores, who has represented the FIBA Spanish national team, showcased his skills during the recent U20 Eurobasket, averaging 7.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game while boasting an impressive shooting percentage of 70.4%. Notably, he ranked second in block percentage at the tournament.
In a standout performance against Finland, he scored 11 points and secured eight rebounds. Previously, Flores played for ACAM Murcia, competing in Spain's top league. According to sources, he will redshirt this upcoming season but is anticipated to arrive in Chicago shortly.
Flores adds to a diverse recruiting class that includes several international players and transfers, completing the Blue Demons' roster for the 2025-26 season with a total of 12 active scholarship players, two redshirt players, and two walk-ons.
